Believing that the best teacher is also the best student, Jill Jaxx has studied with some of Los Angeles’ best voice teachers. Her own ability, inherited from her musician/physician and nurse parents, to intuitively diagnose blocks to performing and singing, have earned her the title “Queen of the Quick Fix.”

For more than ten years Jill Jaxx has provided students with her wealth of knowledge and performing experience, creating breakthroughs in:

  • Singing technique: strength and agility
  • Correct breath support
  • Emotionally opening and connecting to the song
  • Overcoming stage fright
  • Inspiring yourself as a singer and performer

"Jill showed us the secret to breathing correctly, and increased all of our vocal ranges as well as our self-confidence. One alto now even sings soprano! We loved studying with her!”

Lead vocalist, Zhena Folk Choir

"Jill has the ability to convey ideas so that even five-year-olds can understand them. Now over 100 of our young singers know how to sing correctly. And boy can you hear it in our performances! Best of all, she makes learning fun!”

Director, American Youth Express (Performing Group)

"Jill is a magical teacher who is able to communicate, educate, and bring out the best in singers. She created special musical programs for our school that were highly acclaimed and led to our doing a recording for an off Broadway musical!”

Director, Chrysalis School For Girls

"Jill worked nothing short of miracles at our song and dance camp. Teaching younger singers to breathe properly and connect their head and chest voices can take months or even years. Jill had them doing it after one lesson.”

Artistic Director, San Pedro City Ballet

"Jill, like a musical surgeon, was able to instantly diagnose and correct our group’s bad singing habits—ones that were really hurting our performances. And now we’ve never sounded better!”

Lead singer, Rhythm Angels

Jill Jaxx is...

also Jill Bunker. Jill and her twin sister Jan (“Jan & Jill”) sang and danced as the original Budweiser “Pick a Pair of Six-Pack Twins” and the “Suedes” on Happy Days. They sang “Makin’ Our Dreams Come True,” the theme from Laverne & Shirley, on American Bandstand and also appeared on several NBC specials with Ed McMahon, as well as seasons with both Carol Burnett and Red Skelton. They were also the opening act for such luminaries as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bob Hope, Tina Turner, and Johnny Mathis, appearing at Caesar’s Palace, the MGM Grand, The Shubert Theater, and the Plaza Hotel in New York. As a recording artist, Jill has performed on countless records in both the USA and Germany, and many commercials and voiceovers.
